'making those cars race in the opposite direction'
*thinks hard*
Er... doesn't that take rather a long time? Or are they allowed to start at the other end of the track, too?
*scratches head*
Cool article, by the way

First of all they race on an oval track so there is no "other end of the track." Secondly, at every caution they turn the field around and race in the opposite direction, and they always start from a complete stop instead of running starts. This prevents any "set-up" to the cars and keeps the field slowed down a bit because they are all very young and inexperienced drivers. Whatever the reason behind the rules, it makes for exciting and very interesting racing.
And by the way, these rules for this and the SundayWarriors classes are owned and copyrighted by the track.

An oval track... of course
That actually hadn't occured to me.
*bashes head repeatedly against table in the hope of improving clarity of thought*
I'll leave now...
Thanks.

That's quite alright. Do you do much Icerally Racing in Southern Cal.?
Just curious. Most IceRally Racing i've seen up here is in Quebec.

Actually the Ice rally racing I do tends to be in B.C. the Yukon and Alaska, I am fortunate enough to be part of Isuzu,s factory rally team
when they run the Alcan Winter Rally ( http://alcan5000.com ) if we tried racing cars on lakes here in So. Cal we would drown!
