h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

 ok, so i went to the reding festival on saturday + saw Catatonia.
they were fab as per usual.
and Aled has been liting weights, i'm sure of it, he's got HUGE shoulders now.

also saw Atari Teenage Riot (oh dear. oh dear oh dear. not good at all. noooooooo!)
Beth Orton (i love her now. she is just beyond brilliant!)
The Divine Comedy (they were happy, weren't they?)
and some other people who i can't b bothered to talk about for the minute

and i just watched the footage from Margam Park last night and guess what i noticed...that's right - another hat!
it's burgandy.

They have to be THE funniest band on the planet, they are so unbelievably crap, noisy, politically incorrect and down right silly that it makes me laugh! You didn't see much did you? Radio 1 go the best bands i'm afraid, Idlewild rock! 3 Colours Last playing and that was spectacular! Chemical Brothers on Friday were also well sorted!!!

well, i just say everything on the main stage up 2 1/2 way throught the divine comedy.
and Catatonia.

I hate the Divine Comedy, I do not like them, however, the Chemical Brothers... Now they are good.

well, i did only see half of TDC, but i did like it.
maybe it was the setting, they were lovely and summery.

were u there for Beth Orton's Lobster Joke?

I looked like a Lobster! I didn't need some funny bitch going on about them!?!? It would hurt me (on top of the pain of sunburn!)

atari teenage riot are great :P
you just have to listen to it a few times to get the message.
ok thats a complete lie, they're just noise terrorists...
but if you don't have those then you're stuck with bands
like gene and another level.
sleater kinney were pretty good though and muse rocked.
catatonia were very good and I want some of what cerys was
drinking... I wish they did more 'way beyond blue' stuff though.
