Hi and welcome. I am one of the newer ACEs, but have been contributing articles for several months. I even had one accepted.

Hi Greebo, yes I do. My favourite characters are any of those played by Rik Mayall - Captain Flashheart, mad prisoner, etc. I was also besotted by Queen Elizabeth 1st.

When Ben Elton writes scripts for Blackadder, they are funny; when he tries similar material as a stand-up comic, I don't find them funny at all.

Who are your fave characters, and why?

~big grin~... One of the reason's me asked that question... is because every time me hears your name... in my mind me hears Blackadder saying Bob, in the very episode starring Rik Mayell as Captain Flasheart...
