h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have so much that I would love to put on my page but fear it is beginning to get a bit cluttered ....I really do need to figure out a way to show all the lovely things I have been given and to introduce everyone to all the great visitors I have had without having such a cluttered mess. It begins to get difficult to follow once so much gets placed here. I will figure it out soon and then it will be tidy again

Cluttered? I'm always moaning to people about how my page looks from the edit screen! I haven't the heart to take anything down

To divide your page up, ample use of will do the job. My homepage is divided into 'sections'. And seeing as yours isn't as big as mine, I think t would be handy once you start adding things.

Do you know how to do bullet points? I'm about to add some to my homepage, handy if you're listing something.

my dear mike a, you are far to kind to help me once more i will attempt the headers that you mentioned but i fear i do not know about the bullet points that you mentioned. perhaps you could teach me how to do those as well ....i would like to thank you again for your help, i seem to be getting to where i have the same problem you do, i don't have the heart to remove anything and have so much more i would like to do if only i could make it look pleasing to the eye

I chose it myself actually. God wanted me to be 'metal fatigue', but I do not like cheap jokes aimed at my fandom. Furry metal sums it up nicely

i must admit that furry metal does sound much better than metal fatigue ....

I read that and had a feeling of deja vu, but in the time it took to load the reply screen the feeling wore off. Guess I just imagined that you'd say that when I posted my last post, and the memory just came back. Cool.

this sort of thing begins to happen whenever two people spend a lot of time together, they begin to know what the other is thinking, feeling and so on

A month since a newly appointed ACE decided to say hi to a newbie, even though she'd already got the ACE treatment (normally I don't bother if somebody else's got there first)...

always take the bother you never know who is on the other end of the computer.....the other person could end up being someone you form a great friendship (or more) with or they could be someone who contains knowledge that you would dearly love to learn....i always try to say hello to everyone i come to, not only does this give me a chance to get to know many different varieties of people but it almost always creates smiles

Of all my time on h2g2, I could only name two people who've stuck with the guide. It's disheartening to see your hello threads go down fter a day or two, but I suppose I should start again soon. When the exams aren't causing too much hassle.

i always try to look at the ones who stayed instead of the ones who didn't, though i suppose i am an optimist in the way i think ....exams can make it difficult to do much, i do not envy you at all, i remember them all to well and never was very fond of them

Thing is, 90% of those who I've greeted have vanished. Any downheartedness I drown with music (I got three HM articles soon to get into the official guide this month - check out the list of entries and the bottom of my homepage )

Done latin art and frenchexams today. I'm expecting a result of 60-70% for latin and french, and 50-60% in art. I'm rocking all over the world

that is just fantastic ..you should be quite proud of yourself, i will have to go over and have a look at your articles
