If there isn't a day go by, that someone wants to talk about why doesn't life seem fair, and why can't we have everything we ever wanted - preferably tied together with an attractive bow...
I suppose it's our lot in life to explain the inexplicable, to make sense where insanity reigns, to split infinitives where even a mighty starship wouldn't boldly go...
I dare say, such a job can lead you up the garden path marked ‘Misanthropic City...’
So, I hope you gain some comfort from all of this...

oh my stars! this is a great honour for me. i am pleased to make your acquaintance my dear i do admit that we would all prefer having everything go the way we want it and to never be upset or such but i think that is just part of being human. unfortunately this is not the way things are. there are problems and things that happen which we cannot do anything about. i must say though that i really do not mind listening to people when they come to me with their problems because i do enjoy attempting to help them work though the hard times in life. it also shows me that my problems are not really as bad as i thought they were, there are others out there with much more to be upset about than me .
as for yourself, i am reminded by you that even though i feel i am overly busy and may have too much on my plate it is not nearly as busy nor my plate as full as yours . so i guess the answer would be yes, i do gain some comfort from all of this .
if you ever have a need for a break from all of your work please do take a moment to stop by and enjoy a nice cup of tea and a few treats
