I've just got back from a lovely walk in the Peak District (on the edge of Sheffield, where I live). With a group of friends, I walked from Fox House, down Padley Gorge (stopped for a cuppa and a slice of fruit cake at Grindleford Station cafe), then back via Longshaw to the pub at Fox House for a couple of pints. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the beer was cold - what more could you ask?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
