You? Wigan? get away! Should have guessed you'd spent some time there from your sense of humour! Where, when, how?

Me? Wigan? Yes. And yes, I did get away.
You? Wigan? Where, when, how?
Me? Abram, Kitt Green and Ashton, 19xx to 1987 or 1994, possibly, and how? Well, you tend to live where your parents make you live, I suppose...
You?

Me? Winstanley for home, Whelley and Whitley for schools, family in Ashton, friends everywhere, Driving instructor and sister's ex-boyfriend form Kitt Green -
Up to 1987 when I ran away to Scotland and scarcely ever came back (kept getting lost where the town centre used to be!)

(I speak as a former pupil of Derek Reynolds (for all your googly eyed maths needs, origami lessons an optional extra), Ken Farrimond (RIP, sadly missed, especially the way he'd lift you up by the hair in front of your ear), Barbara Pass (humanities and hillwalking), Linda Spencer (French and science fiction), Paul Buer (English, drama and beard growth) and Teresa Jones, the world's best French teacher bar none...)

Oh my God...
Check on all of those teachers - are you sure we don't know each other?
1979-82, by the way, and I'm back in touch with Miss Jones, who contacted me through Friends Reunited.

OK, here's the news. I know you. I knew you quite well in fact. Example fact which doesn't compromise your anonymity too much: you have a sister called Nina.
So... who am I?
And I'm a bit put out that Miss Jones contacted you and not me... what's she up to these days?

Oh, and do me a favour... if you DO know/work out who I am, don't say so here, at least not in so many words... Relative anonymity can be quite liberating, doncha think?

Oho - I really did get a feeling I knew you, but you'll have to give me a clue - my brain's fried!
And how did you work me out? I've amused myself on hootoo over the years by dropping enough clues, so obviously something worked
Sha'n't tell you about Miss Jones till I know who you are - a poor bribe but all I have....
I have a shortlist in mind but hmm - who would remember my sister's name????
Come on - a clue! a clue!

Oh, and I'll tell you by email how I worked you out. It'd be a big giveaway if I told you here. (of YOU, not me.)
