I read that Kurt wanted to get rich with his music, but not famous. He should have known better.
He was fed up with all the yuppies at his concerts, and on some videos of late concerts I believe to see him look disdainful at the applauding masses.
But still I believe his suicide is related more to the drugs than to his fame.
