Being an agnostic up until now, has had its problems. Firstly, people find it strange that one whose ‘day & night job’ is basically the source of all religious experience , should be so diffident to it .
And, believe you me, the irony hasn’t escaped us up here...
Secondly, being so, does entail a certain lack of faith in MY own abilities.
As I felt, I should at least make an effort to become involved. I have recently borrowed some sacred writings from Buddha’s dedicated monks. I have to say, I am quite taken with the whole concept of reincarnation, but, I don’t think the world will ever be ready for a ‘plaque’ of ‘Born Again Christians...’

The world already has Christians! "Born again" is just a phrase used to excuse past actions. The profits of olden times knew from birth that they were chosen and so do the people of today. It's good that you are reading about others that have dedicated their life for a cause, but so did many of the elders. They told, advised and wrote to us within their written words of selected speech about their actions. It does tend to put an eternal meaning to "born again" does it not? From a small child I can remember them saying "You're born to die", so if "Born again" fits into this catagory, reincarnation is possible but don't quote me. All I know is that nothing really dies, it is only consumed and released as a different life form. Changed they are, but solidity guaranteed within the form of: a gas, a liquid, or a solid. The world is already ready for that!
