Oh, come on. How about some supporting evidence, at least? And as much as I keep turning around and around while looking at the mirror, I can't find the yellow stripe.

And the Terrans seem to have ease secreting that yellow stuff from their back. They use it to hide behind all sorts of things, including themselves.

I think you may be confusing British Liberal Democrats with American (liberal) Democrats.
The Liberal Democrats are a UK political party and their party colour is yellow. Just like the Labour Party colour is red and the Conservative colour is blue. These are ancient traditions.
