Morgan's right, you really needn't worry . He's also right about the American influence so try not to be too disappointed. I know you're well up on your Bryson and I think he has us down pretty much pat.

Well...if I have to seek a little harder to find England in London, all the more likely I will meet more of the real English as well
And I want to be Bill Bryson when I grow up.

I can promise you, Zmrzlina, that looking like Bill Bryson is not absolutely essential to guarantee a warm welcome in this sceptr'd isle - distinguished though he be. The 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' look, for example, is much in vogue in the East Midlands, to my certain knowledge. Willow would do at a pinch.
Incidentally, I hope you've noticed how much BS and I are up to speed with American culture. We've both watched 'Wayne's World' several times and I know most of the dialogue in 'Animal House'. We're cosmopolitan guys, you know

I wondered when you'd get round to dropping Buffy into the conversation , that's an unhealthy interest you have there m'boy.

Methinks the two of you may be more informed of American kulcha than I am. I've never seen the Buffy show...though I did look up pictures of Willow....nope...pretty name, but not my cup of tea. If changes be made...I'd stick with the Bill Bryson mind and my body
The only television show I watch is "Darma and Greg," which I am sure isn't shown over there. Darma is my idol. I want to be left on a deserted island for three weeks with her. Such lessons she could teach me...
