Just what I needed
coelacanth Started conversation Jan 17, 2010
I'm a busy person but ever since way back when, I try to swim at least twice a week, and if I have the time or inclination I'll do a gym work out too, but that's more to do with there being something on Radio 4 I can listen to at the same time.
Anyway, it's been several weeks of over eating and under exercising. The days of being snowed in didn't help as I hardly moved except to go from the sofa or bed to the fridge, and I'm not very tall, so every pound shows.
Therefore, finally this weekend I took my lethargic, lumpen, hobbity self off to my health club for the first time in 4 weeks. And what I really needed was to find myself in the changing room next to a tall, slim, leggy, ex model and TV presenter.

Now ~that~ is depressing. Or, I suppose, I inspirational. Personnally, I would find it depressing.

Depressing it was. And she was just, you know, effortlessly lovely, very ordinary and her children were delightful and polite too. She could have at least been spotty, unpleasant and had bratty kids.
