So begins a letter I recieved today about "the loss of some personal data in transit". This time from the GTC.

I believe this is the third such letter I've been sent in the past 12 months. I'm sure by now anyone and everyone has my name, home address, email, date of birth, place of work etc. I'm such a private person too!

This is ridiculous! I should think they'll eventually be writing to the people who *haven't* been compromised.

Oh dear! And here they just decided that publishing group photos on a school's website violates the privacy of children.

My issue is with the loss of personal date from big companies, or even the Government. I had this letter too:

Yes, I see your case. I mean they keep venting on quite doubtful issues while they can't deal with what they have in their hands already.
