Or even Welcome
coelacanth Posted Mar 14, 2001
And why not! Cause for some celebration anyway, even if most of my threads have disappeared because I like to put in URL's.
Humph
Pass the anyway.
How's things with you?
Or even Welcome

*passes *
I can't see why they took them out of conversations but left them in entries and user pages, what's the difference?
Things with me are great, got a steady bloke which seems weird, but he's a good lad and lets me do pretty much what I want. My kid is getting on better at school (I think) and all the other stuff he does, so I am happy with that. Except he wants a playstation2. I told him maybe for xmas, but it would be a pressy for me too.
How are Sunshine and Moonlight?
Or even Welcome
coelacanth Posted Mar 14, 2001
So that's you and GB who've been busy while the site's down then. Worth another .
Sunshine and Moonlight are fine! Sunshine going to be 14 next week. She was telling me about the fluffy chicks at school. "I don't like them now they've grown up a bit. They used to be cute and sweet, but now they just looked like ordinary chickens."
I looked at her, all teenagery leggy and taller than me. We both laughed!
Moonlight is auditioning for the school play today. I wanted to watch (since I work there) but I've been banned!

Banned? What for??
Well, I started seeing my bloke in October, but it was only on Valentine's day that I decided he'd better be permanent.

coelacanth Posted Mar 14, 2001
Banned by my 10 year old from watching her audition for the school play. You can tell who's in charge in my house!
Valentine's day? Very romantic. I'm pleased for you.

Enough to bless him with a playstation2 though? It's a bit different with my girls. They just want clothes. Big baggy trousers being the in thing at the moment.
Or even Welcome
I'm not really here Posted Mar 14, 2001
I saw some girls wearing those in Camden a few weeks ago. Just watch them in the rain, they soak up all the water from the floor, they looked horrible! (Only because it was chucking it down, and had been all day, they must have had a couple of bucketfuls in each trouserleg!)
Yeah, I can bless him that much, cos you can play DVD's on a PS2, and that saves my buying a DVD player.
This isn't advertising, do you think?
Or even Welcome
coelacanth Posted Mar 14, 2001
Advertising? No, more like a shopping list.
I know about the trousers soaking up rain and mud believe me! Still, I've trained them on the use of the washing machine recently so, way hey! no longer my problem!
All I have to do now is get them out to work and I can retire. I intend to take it in turns to live with them. I'm going to complain about the food, leave all my underwear on the floor, use up all their hot water, complain about their choice in music....
Oh, and demand they buy me unsuitable clothes.
Or even Welcome
I'm not really here Posted Mar 14, 2001
That's a good idea. And pretend to be deaf when they say "would you help with the washing up?" but have perfect hearing when they say "sticky bun anyone?"
My kid's not too bad, makes me laugh when he says "who's going to take my plate out?" though. Or "who's going to tidy that mess up?".
I laugh and laugh. Then growl at him to get on with it!

Bless your soul, and this is one of my lovely conversations.
Some of my other threads are really quite dodgy.

Wow, for the Muse of Bondage you're being rather nice! So what is gooing to be the biggest thing on the 'new' H2G2??

Hi cloughie! Long time no see. How are you?
Mina, when you say you saw a Coelacanth, was it the one in the Natural History Museum?
[if this was the old h2g2 I'd give the link, but the 'decaf' site won't let me]
This is a very polite thread, but remember Mina - I lurk.
