I read an article about Parmenides this morning, and Zenon. They believed that only there was no reality but thought, and relying on your senses was not being. Being was an all in all status, that was without time or movement. Zenon went into an argument, that tried to prove, that there was in fact no movement at all, but reading it made me think I was having a look at a Monty Python picture...

...But does that mean that things that don't think do not exist!?? I think of my guitar, I see my guitar, my guitar makes noise, my guitar has a physical presence...

Well, I have seen people who thought they knew what they saw, and I saw something else. You may think you see your boyfriend, but maybe you just see another male jerk, without knowing it

HAHHAHAHAHAAA!!!
That can be so true too much of the time, unfortunately...
That can also be interpreted as the challenge of perception. Last night, I saw my darling hockey team win the Stanely Cup, but I am sure Witty Moniker, a researcher from the state of the OTHER team, saw something else...

Oh yes!!! That was me!!! Thank you VERY much!!!
You won't believe how many times we had to rehearse that...
I saw a funny commercial on this stupid show all about funny commercials-- someone videotaped a Dragonfly up close and then went out on a boat to go fishing with a tv in his boat-- He'd show the dragonfly footage, and countless fish would jump at the screen and fall into the boat. It was funny. Finally they had to shut off the tv, there were so many fish!!! Hee hee hee!!!

I´m trying to remember to take a picture of the dragonfly, they designed as a mascot for the one walkingpath in our town. You know that the german for dragonfly is "Libelle" (don´t know if it derives from "belle..." or from the French Egalité, Fraternité, Libelle )
