Isaac Newton's Birthday...
I Am Iron Man Started conversation Feb 29, 2000
Apparently, in Britain we didn't adopt the Gregorian calendar until a few years into the 1600's, and one of the consequences of this is that Isaac Newton has two birthdays (sort of). Under the Julian calendar, he was born on Christmas day 1642, or some time in Januay the following year, because the change took place some time during this period (I think - can't quite remember, I was told this in an A-level physics lesson and I didn't listen to much in those).
Anyway, that's an accolade he shares only with the Queen (and other past monarchs of England and later Britain).
