OK, why does anyone use wallpaper? You people never heard of paint? I just spent four hours taking down wallpaper from two walls. Two! I used this junk called Dif, it worked really well actually. The people who had this house before used one pattern from the middle up, another from the middle down and a border around the middle seam. The border and the top paper came right off, what a breeze! The bottom paper left behind a layer of brown sort of kraft paper that had to be re-wet with hot water and scraped off. Little bits of brown paper are everywhere! The dog is tracking it all over the house!
I mean, come on, wallpaper starts to peel at the seams almost the second you put it up. It's hard to put up and hard to take down. Doesn't paint seem easier?
