Well, now, play might be pushing things a bit I have a viola, and occasionally it gets sawed at. It doesn't like me that much anymore because I lent it to a friend one night who played wonderful Irish trad on it. I don't think the viola can forgive me that I can't do the same!!

Mine (which, as the old joke runs, was in tune when I bought it so I haven't bothered retuning) is pretty much dead now the poor thing. Admittedly it's always sounded like a hoard of flatulent lawnmowers in a bean tin but I'm so out of practise on the poor battered old thing that I never touch it any more.
It's a shame really, but I just can't find the time or the inclination to actually practise it. Good to see other people still play viola though (and talk about it!)

Omgosh, joined H2G2 2day n hav already met 4 viola players after 4 years of playing alone! dn't no if any of u still play/use the site but it wud b gud 2 talk bout it...
