I still don't know how I ended up here, [wherever here is], and why on earth did I register? Perhaps it's due to late-night travelling or surfing as they call it. Logically I have to assume that some word, some phrase, triggered a response in some remote corner of my brain.

I also have to consider that it just might be a trap ...luring unsuspecting travellers with seemingly innocent invitations ...well, for some reason I returned. I have decided to type this journal in their language or at least try.

Have undertaken several 'recon' trips to the 'outside'. It seems prudent to avoid contact with the locals...they are rather strange.

Thanks...
Still busy with page one of the Total Idiots Guide to Computers. Once I've read it, I'll try to understand your section about some special computer text? Here's something for you to translate: Dankie vir die verwelkoming, dit word waardeer.[Ugh..forgot how to smile - anyway I'm smiling!]

My best translating guess is 'thanks for the welcoming words'

Will definitely study harder. Very good translation ... not surprised though, saw your homepage - it's really great! [Thoroughly intimidated lizard will sit under rock for days]8&gtsmiley - winkeye But..first, lizard must go hunt for lost file on computer...don't ask.

[Lizard peeps from underneath rock ...bears are opportunistic feeders, better play it safe] Hi big, nice bear-thing...I am sure you understand about traps. Any tips for survival in this strange place? I'll reward you with salmon as soon as I learn how to catch them! 8&gtsmiley - winkeye

I was wearing a disguise for a bit but I wasn't fooling anyone. It's tough being sneaky when your'e eight feet tall and have realy big claws.

I haven't stepped in any traps here. Iv'e tried to be nice (it seems to work just fine). But we bears have a tendancy to get irritable when we don't get our salmon. Luckily I've found plenty here.smiley - smiley

If you have a tub full of alcoholic beverages Baron, I'd be most grateful if I could have it. Fortunately, it doesn't take much to kill a lizard. On the other hand, maybe I should just walk into a trap...nah!...I'll have the beer, please.[sigh] Oh, by the way ...I didn't ignore you, I simply didn't refresh you. Sorrysmiley - sadface

I don't know about a tub of alcoholic beverages. However why not join us at the BEER POOL. I think we could use a lizard.
