I just posted up a reply to your recent message on the FFFF forum, and I thought I'd follow the link through to your homepage while I'm online. I like your entry on God, by the way. I must say I never thought of 'Him' before as a bad-tempered, indecisive "gaseous hominid" - but, then again, I suppose the Bible does sort of portray him in this light ....

I hope you don't mind my putting a link to this page on my own homepage, mainly for personal convenience - I wouldn't mind checking one or two of those other references later on, when I get the chance. In particular, the stuff on 'Thought Crime' looks good. I certainly agree with that old Situationist heretic Vaneigem that 'labour' = 'suffering'. But when did he ever do an honest day's work in his life ....

Hello Lear, thanks for stopping by to visit... sorry about not being home (you might have noticed). I've been inordinately busy getting my life together and will be for the forseeable future (about two weeks at least!). Thus, I don't have a lot of time right now to chat. Still, I think I probably would enjoy chatting with you if I could stabilize my life and find some time to devote to H2G2 as a semi-serious hobby again. So watch this space, and I'll drop you a note when I think I'll have some reasonable hope of carrying ona conversation.

Sounds cool to me, Twophlag. I reckon I'm good for another three or four decades yet, if I play my cards right - So I can't exactly say I'm pushed for time...
