The dark side of Herefordians

If you like your towns weird, then Hereford is the most surreal place to go. The City is caught in a perpetual time loop, and the strangest things go on here. People have the inability to give way to each other. If you are polite, then you will never get anywhere in a straight line. Herefordians are like Vogons, they are sheer bloody minded and once they have made up there minds where they are going, not even God himself can make them giveway. If you get in the way, TS. Research has discovered that Moses may have been an ancestor of the first Herefordian but unfortunatly neither are available for comments at this time.
If you collide with a Herefordian, don't even try to be polite, just stare them out. If this fails then all you will get is the frowning of a lifetime and be insulted as soon as they think you are out of earshot.

Don't you believe it folks! Herefordians are the most sociable, considerate types you are likely to meet in this green and pleasant land. Of course, that may not apply to the younger generation!! Only when they have travelled will they learn to appreciate the comforts offered by 'the city in the heart of the countryside'.

Dire Straits - great music, shame about Mark Knopfler's voice! (And he'd be one of the first to admit he's not a singer)

Look, i'm an observationalist, and a philosipher. But i'm also a herefordian whos not afraid to look at what we really are. People say that hereford is a delightful place to visit but to live in its hell.
You are only saying that because you are afraid to look through the looking glass and see the truth.
Herefordians can be nice and civil, but they can also be very rude and selfish.
Thats why I called it the DARK side of Herefordians

You try living in London! Returning to Hereford is unspeakable bliss. Anyway, people are rude and selfish wherever you go, especially as you head 'south'. Wanting to 'escape' your roots is a natural phenomenom, but I've discovered that returning is better! But enough philosophising!

So what are you studying, and what do you plan to do after college?

I'm at the HCT doing advanced GNVQ in Information Technology. Planning to do after..........sleepsmiley - smiley
But jumping back to the Hereford issue, i HAVE lived in London and loved it there. Hereford is sooooooo boring. Eros is crap, so is bushwackers, the crystal rooms are too expensive, the only claim to fame the cith has is that it has an old map and has been razed more than once.
Perhaps i'm just not a country bumpkin...
I'm not alone it this dislike of all things hereford, click on my name and find the link for Anxer. He lurves hereford more than I do...
