The wind blows through the trees around me. I watch them as they appear to dance to the silent rhythm of thunder rolling through the sky. The world has changed into a calm dark realm with a sadness hanging in the air. There is no name for the feeling of emptiness lingering around me, and only the faintest touch of cold reminds me that I exist in this lonely vacuum of space.
I drowned in the feeling of longing for a world outside of this dance. Although the trees call to me to join them, I resist the haunting tune. But how long can I last? How long can I resist the growing desire within me to join the turns and sways of the dance? The song grows quietly within me, and with every clash of thunder the fire rolling in my blood goes wild.
Lighting pierces the sky. The trees dance to the song. The thunder is calling, and the winds are calling, and my heart is falling victim to its screams. Still, in the silence there’s a whisper, just loud enough for a broken soul to hear. That’s what I hold onto in this world, a silent whisper to save me from the dark immoral sky.
