As for real pictures, well, copyright issues mean that we don't as yet have the factilities/staff to veryify ownership of possibly thousands of different Researcher's personal pictures (which we absolutely have to do for legal reasons). And why some of the h2g2 staff have personal pics on their personal spaces is simply because we can legally authenticate copyright/authorship. The situation might well change in the future but until then, you'll have to make do with the h2g2 pics in the Graphics Library:
