Well, here in the West Country back in the 90s, people would normally refer to doing hash or doing an eighth unless they were using skunk, which was always treated as a separate smiley - erm product altogether (super skunk...very bad...very bad....). Occasionally, you would hear someone mention doing resin or doing leaf, if they needed to be more specific on the type. People in their thirties would sometimes call it blow, but they always sounded like old hippies when they did (and if this post doesn't get auto-yikesed by the BBC filters I'll be amazed.

Here, in the South East, well East anglia, 'gear' was often just used (this would have been early 1990's,), or skunk (for that particular type), or just 'hash', 'Green', or 'resin' ... smiley - erm
