How do I compose something on my mac and then move it to post on Hootoo? Be specific; I'm severely computer illiterate.

kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website Posted Aug 19, 2007
If you have an appleworks document open and want to copy the text to hootoo, then you do something called cut and paste. You can only copy text, not pictures, graphs etc.
1. highlight all the text in the a/w document by going to the edit menu (top of screen) and selecting 'copy'.
2. The go to the hootoo text box, click in it once to put the cursor there, select edit menu and then select 'paste'.
Is that what you meant?

Note that you will also not copy your formating. The GuideML tags (, , and so on) have to be typed out or added using the swanky editing thing on the site.
