A Conversation for How do I...?

GOD

Alright, I haven't installed computers up in heaven until now. (It's not as if we needed the processing power, with the small amount of people making it through the 'selection critera'. I believe the 'infernal' one sold his soul to Apple, kind of like Mr.Adams really) smiley - winkeye

Anyway, when I tried to put a lovely background on my page, unfortunately it looked awful because it wasn't confined to the text box. Is there any way of confining in there ?

If you furnish me with what I require, I'm willing to look over any past misdemeanors, at the appropriate juncture in time... smiley - smiley

There's no way to confine a background to the text area of your page that I'm aware of.

How about putting a frame or single cell table around the text area?
I don't know if it'd work but you could try and let us see the results!

You could use

document.bgColor="black";

to set the background colour to black though it'll look a little strange around the Gosmiley - doctor

I dunno... it looks so confined in a table smiley - winkeye

Plus, if you have some background image, the words are really hard to read, when printed on top of the background (hint hint smiley - winkeye)
