I am becoming a different person (Outwardly)and would like to change my member name, can I do this and how?

Your member name - i.e. the one you use to log in? I don't think you can... - you'd have to re-register.
Your screen nickname (what's seen in h2g2) you can change simply by pressing on 'My Preferences' to the left of the screen.

Thanks that's what I thought (afterwards) and I had already done that, maybe I'm not so dumb after all

In the 'retrieve my details' section, you can also change your login name and password, you don't have to create a new account - but as that isn't waht you meant, you should be fine anyway

You can change your 'real' name at the bottom of the 'my details' screen - but that doesn't actually change what appears at the top of a DNA page I.E. in the bit that says "Hello XXXX ... I'm not XXXX"
The bit at the bottom is the _visible_ on-screen ID used by sites like ActionNetwork.
