Can someone tell me how I put a friend in my journal? I don't seem to have the "click on" on my space.

Not a problem - all you do is visit your friend's personal space and click on the "Add to friends" link on their space.

Note that that doesn't put them in your journal. It puts them on your friends list and subscribes *you* to *their* journal. They would have to add you to their friends list to get your journal entries automatically.
