I Got a few friends to join (Well, a lot of friends) and i want to visit their space to see how they're getting along,
They should've made an intro by now, but...

I was just interested to know! I wouldn't really have any use for your services I'm afraid!
However, on the Geocities page you have an IQ test and it says that the I stands for Intelligence, and the Q for Quiz. I always thought the Q stood for Quota??

I found it confusing that the answers had different numbers to the question numbers!
I'd seen that kind of thing before so I guessed it would be quite quirky!
I didn't get the question about the 55p in two coins, very sneaky

Researcher 178815 Posted Jun 6, 2001
Really? Oops.. must get to a pc and update that!
Anyway, did you understand the answer though?
only ONE is not a 5p piece!
Greebo T. Cat used one that i featured on my site in Just for Fun, so that's how i knew.

What does h2g2 look like on a telly?

Researcher 178815 Posted Jun 6, 2001
Well, obviously, a PC Monitor is a diff. res. so looks different..
Erm, right, the Goo Thing down the side doesn't meet the BBC Oncline Logo Part at the top.. you can see the lines between the two images, and then there's the peer review advert at the top part, that doesn't join proper either. Oh, and it has a huge browser bar!! takes up about 20% of the screen!! all it has in it is an advert and 4 Coloured button things... "Navigate" "Help" "Shortcuts" "Services", Oh! and a small screen in the corner with the TVChannel on!
Not as good as a PC really.
Oh, and where i'm writing now is slow putting the text in. I Type a word, for example, and it comes up a little later. If there's a lot of text typed in the box, it can even take up to 8 seconds to type a word after i've finished typing it!! Oh
and it has a yellow highlight round it and the bits where you scroll the screen down or accross are no here, but the Page Up/Dn buttons act as the pg up/pg dn buttons on a pc do. Oh, and there are just big yellow arrowheads instead of those scroller things at the ends of the page.
Oh, and no mouse, so no copy/paste either!
