This is my first day on the beat.I look foward to doing research for the guide. Amazingly I found this gig by looking at the New York Post.
The Post is a paper best suited to troglodites or the bottom of your
birdcage(it is fun though and page 6 gossip is indispensible). I have
searched the net several times looking up Douglas Adams and the Hitchhikers Guide but this site never came up so I would guess it is rather new. My reserch number is quite high so maybe I am wrong.Any one with info on when this site was born please let me know.

In response to your question, h2g2 started in May 1999. Recently we celebrated 30,000 researchers
