We are officially on the metric system, but being an old-timer I can relate to both. Remember, you gave me 5 years off. LOL. You have to share it with me though. Deal? The ballroom was a great idea. I've never seen everyone looking so sophisticated.

Are Canadian ovens C or F?

Mine's got both. Our cars have miles and kilometres too. I live very close to the American-Canadian border, so our weather is in C and F also. I think that Americans didn't believe that Canada would stay metric. That we'd go back to Imperial, because THEY wouldn't change. Well, we fooled them. Kids growing up in Canada just learn metric in school.

I did metric in school 25 years ago, but shops still use imperial!
I think I have all the information for the cake. You'll need cocoa powder, self raising flour, castor sugar and brown sugar. The rest I think you'll have.

so you're saying you didn't get snow in Buffalo (or thereabouts) yesterday? We got 10" on this side of the state! I'll have to look at a weathermap and see what happened.
