I thought I'd start this thread so that we had a conversation link for chatty stuff.

I've had a day playing old Yes and Mike Oldfield records (you remember - those old black plastic discs, about twelve inches across). For some reason I think of them as Christmassy records. I must have bought Tubular Bells and The Yes Album with christmas present money. Who can remember that far back?

Hi Peter,

I just realised that this forum was here. I have about 300 of those plastic discs myself. I only have a few select cds myself. It's a beautiful, sunny day here today. Perfect dog-walking weather.

Well, it's just getting light here. It's eight thirty in the morning and its drizzling. A thoroughly miserable looking day.

Having cheered you up, I'll plough on . Christmas is warming up here now. Friends round later today, Two Towers tomorrow lunchtime, meal out (Thai) tomorrow night, rest on Sunday, lunch party round my local pub on Monday....and then it's chrimbo!
