h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

This has been a wonderful day. New avenues have opened and I have heard from the most wonderful people. My case-worker thinks I'm doing great, and she doesn't think I need her anymore. She will visit one last time next week. Sad news for her personally, she got bit by a dog yesterday. She was happy to see Angus and Rosee this morning. They both lavished her with kisses and reassured her that all big dogs aren't mean. She says that if I'm doing this well still by August, I may not need the in-patient therapy. Good news. I'll have to see what my other counsellor thinks, though. I'm not going to screw up this time. Thanks for the timely visit, God A. You sure know your job.

Alicat, it's so great to hear you doing well. You are stronger than you know, and we all know you can do anything you set your mind to.

Thanks, Sweetie. I'm coming to realise that I can do this, if I really want to. With this nice weather, I get the urge to have a beer. Just one. But I know there's no such thing as just one with me. I really enjoyed our chat at WF. Sorry I had to run so fast. Now that I know I can do it, everything's great. Do you know what I think I was doing wrong? I think I wasn't letting my server connect. Always so impatient. What a dummy I am.

Oh stop!! You aren't dumb! You got there, and that's all that matters. I sent Pandora an invite to join, it would be cool if we could all get there at the same time, maybe Pandora could invite Gwennie once she gets there. Happy Day!!!

That's too bad, it's 2:20am and I just got here!! I'm sorry but I won't be around today, getting my car fixed, new wheel bearings. I'm bartering with a friend, I'm putting in his car stereo. I hate doing machanics work, but I like wiring. See you Wednesday, but only during the day, I'm playing guitar at a bar after work, open mike baby!!!

Cool. *And up next, Mr. Steve Howe. * You keep yourself very busy. I'll try to get on during the day. I've got the last visit from my counsellor at 8:30 am, then Rosee gets her shots at 10:00. I'm glad to see Gwennie made it to WF. She's a great lady. Very pretty too. She sends wonderful e-mails, and she has a very difficult life. I admire her very much. Nice dogs, and she also has 5! cats. We just have to get Pandy over too and try to set up a time when we can all chat.

Hi Babe,

I didn't think you'd be here this early. I just finished with my counsellor. She's confident I'll be OK without anymore visits. I've got to start attending AA meetings, so I won't have to go back to rehab. I still meet with another counsellor in the hospital.

I've got to go take Rosee for her shots now. I should be back soon though. Hopefully you'll still be around. Maybe we can meet at Willow Farm.

I tried to get into the chat room, but it says the page cannot be displayed. I will keep trying though. I went back to a very old forum to find the link to Mari-rae's website, The Someday Farm. The search was unsuccessful. It might have been removed. If Mari-rae joins, she can post the right link. It was a beautiful website. I changed my e-mail updates to daily from weekly, so I won't miss any messages or new members. I'm making everyone asst. managers so that they can all change whatever they want. I am going to make you a full manager, so you can do everything. It will be much more efficient.

What now? I'm connected, but the cursor isn't coming up to let me enter anything. It took me three tries to send an e-mail to welcome Mari-rae. You are a full manager now. I really am hopeless here. The hourglass icon is spinning around and I can't do anything. I don't know how you put up with me. I'm going to log off and start all over again. Hopefully by the time you get back, I will be chatting.

I tried clicking all over the f***ing page. I couldn't do anything. The damn icon just kept spinning like it was going to let me do something. I had to shut down the whole computer to get out of there. Well, I'm going to try again. *crosses fingers, toes and eyes*

I'm so sorry. I was so sick and tired last night I could barely think. I suffered through work, got home, took a shower, and went to SLEEP!! I should make it to WF tonight, though.
