It was pointed out to me that the deer carcase I found at the canal may have been killed by a car. In this case, it was better that the meat should be used instead of just rotting away. I thought the worst, that it was human greed or ignorance that cost that deer it's life. I still have a long way to go in my acceptance of the inate goodness of mankind. Another lesson learned.
