Hi Also Ran 1. Merry Christmas. I love animals. I live in Canada, near Niagara Falls. We got a little bit of snow Christmas eve and Christmas day. Did you have a nice day?

Thank you for your nice reply and for telling me where you live.Do you see them from where you live? I have been to the Victoria Falls near Livingstone in Zambia but never to the Niagara Falls.
I lieve in Sevenoaks, in the county of Kent which is called the Garden of England. It is a lovely county and near enough to the sea for me to be able to take the Channel Tunnel and be in France two and a half hours after leaving my front door. Wonderful!1

It sounds like you live in a lovely area. My Dad's family was from London, and I have an aunt who is from Wigan. She was a war bride. I live in a place called Dain City. It's a village of about 1000, and it's between two canals. The Old and New Welland Canals intersect at a point and form a triangle of land. There is nothing behind my house but forest and hills. It's perfect for my dogs. The canals were built so that ships could bypass the Niagara Falls. I'm about 20 minutes from the Falls. I think you have been to the more beautiful of the falls. Niagara Falls isn't very high, maybe 200 feet. There is just a huge volume of water. We are very close to the USA border.
Did you have a nice Christmas? My brother and his family are here for a weeks visit. He lives 4 hours away. He was in a car accident in Sept., and he lost his left eye. Last week he was fitted with a "glass" eye (actually acrylic) so he was pretty happy. My Dad and his wife and my brother and his family are coming to my house today for a visit. I've got some urgent cleaning to do.
