Hope you don't mind me dropping by, it's because I've just noticed that my Cider guide entry has been passed on again. I was with someone called Ashley and now, as far as I can gather it's with you. Not that I'd want to hassle anybody or anything like that, oh no. I can wait. I'm very good at waiting...
But if there's anything you wanted to sort out, well , here I am. I usually drop in every other day or so to see how things are getting on in H2G2 world.

Hi Andy R,
Thanks for stopping by. I didn't know I'd been given this entry second hand- I'd have worked on it sooner if I had! I've gone through it and made some edits; if you'd like to have a look through to make sure I haven't abused the entry too much or introduced any errors which are obvious to you I would be grateful. I'll try to submit this early next week.
Also, I searched on BBCi and came up with a number of recipes for cider: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?q=cider&uri=%2Fhome%2Ftoday%2Findex.live.shtml , including one for spiced cider: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/db/15/S/spicedcider_8904.shtml
Would you like any of these recipes to be linked from the entry? If so, which?

I've had a read through and to be honest, given the time that's passed, I can hardly notice any difference. I suppose that's a compliment to your light touch
Since the article is primarily about cider in and of itself rather than as an ingredient I'd prefer not to include links to recipes given the choice. I also find the link to "France" a bit tenuous, but all the rest are fine and appropriate. Do you think it might be an idea to try and get this article and the "scrumpy" one released ont the front page simultaneously if possible? If not it doesn't natter, we'd get two bites at the cherry so to speak.

I don't know about the scrumpy entry, however I'll suggest it.
I'll remove the france link before I send the entry back, however, I warn you, if any bbc links suddenly appear, it won't be my fault, someone in house will have done it. got to go, late for lecture...

Has it gone back yet - just wondering

Yep, it has, and I believe its also been looked at by the folks in house, so it should be appearing on the front page any day now!

Many thanks J'au-æmne
If the links have been checked in the last day or so they may have found a problem with the website hosting for [broken link removed by moderator], but that should be fixed later today.
