A Conversation for The X-Files
Was it "FBI's most unwanted" or "least wanted"?

For all the X-Philes I've run into who know HHGTTG, I would think someone here would know The X-Files. Come on, people, talk to me! Don't like the entry? Think you could have done better? Say that. Really, I intend to revise (or completely rewrite) it as soon as I'm in a frame of mind to be coherent and at least somewhat interesting.

It was most definately Most Unwanted, and will you be my friend? I'm obsessed with The X-Files and I'm obsessed with HHGTTG. Basically, I'm obsessed with anything sci-fi, but TXF is my PASSION. If you'll be my friend, I'll even show you my website! My home on h2g2 is big fat zero right now coz I'm too busy with... erm... trying to get my hands on the boy in the cyber cubicle next to me at school.

Hello Red Petunia, and thank you! My obsessivness about TXF waxes and wanes, but I'd be happy to discuss most anything about the show. If TXF is your passion, I assume you're familiar with the fan community (especially the Internet fan community). Like I said in the entry, I think that phenomonon deserves its own entry; I'd either like to write it, or be content in the knowledge that I inspired someone else to. Suggestions?

Hiya
I do believe someone else is currently writing a guide entry on TXF, and I'm also working on a few, but if you're not a hardcore fan then maybe you could write a thing on observing the show from outside its circle of fandom or something... I dunno. How can it waX and wane? As a full-on fan i can't comprehend that!!!
Love,
Red

Oh, my *obsession* with the show is consistent, don't worry. It's just that my definition of "hardcore fan" does not include always loving everything about it (i.e. there are episodes I don't like, I'm not hesitant to say that those are concentrated in the past couple seasons, etc.) Some people's definitions do, so we get into semantics issues over it.
And I have other, mostly secondary, obsessions that really do wax and wane, and sometimes take energy away from TXF (although once I find a way to connect them, problem solved
