Obscure

Well I must thank you for the update on Guelph watering holes, I now know where NOT to go, except on sundays. Tell me something, I am a bit confused, after 6 months in Guelph.
I have met many great students, since I got here, all at work, earning that money to go to afore-mentioned hostelries. But when I have been to these places alone, have encountered arrogance, and borderline hostility, by drunk people that think that they are the bee's knees, and am puzzled by this. Can you enlighten me as to this behaviour?

whirlwind, heat, and flash

As a born and bred guelphite, I can tell you,

the problem is not the people, it's that those are entirely the wrong bars to attend... Never, ever, ever go into the palace for any realon whatsoever!

Try the ebar on weeknights for decent prices, and the Albion for a nice friendly drinking spot with good music
