These days are very special, i get to go home from work 10 mins early, i enjoy a slow and relaxing day, and by the end of the day i can rest assured that in 12 hours i will not be awake getting on the bus in the cold.

Ah, the old Thank God It is Friday. However at the time of writing this, it is Wednesday, which apart from Mondays would have to be the least productive day of the week. So all I can say, 'Roll on Friday'.
Actually I might campaign for each day of the week to be Friday, therefor we are always looking forward to the weekend, and hence always in a good mood.

I still think that Saturdays should remain the main clubbing day of the weekend. As we have already started to discuss Mondays are a no no but,,, fridays do not always have to be a night out on the E******* But just most of the time.

I have to start to agree with you there, but as we look at the days of weeks and decide what we need, and don't need I feel that the following would be a good start
Firstly the start of the week should not be Sunday, this means that work is in the middle of the week. My mother used to say 'Do your work first then you can go play'. Since Monday would become an offical day of the weekend (as already discussed), we could not start the week on that day either.
Wednesday is the next worst day of the week compared to Monday, since it is in the middle of the working week, we should remove it entirely as under the new weekly structure it would be the worst day of the week.
Friday's are quite productive as everyone is getting ready for the weekend, and a fair number of work places have Friday afternoon drinks (which is a good thing), so each of the working days should be called Friday, and work places should provide Friday afternoon drinks for all their staff.
Sunday's are special days, as they are recovery days of a late night out. As the body needs time to recover, the length of time for a Sunday should be extended an extra 24 hours (gained from removing Wednesday from the week).
I also know if you're an Aussie that the quite religios ceremony of the 'Sunday Session' is quite important. This religious ceremony may also be important in other parts of the world, so the second 24hrs of Sunday should be dedicated the Sunday Session.
Mondays should now be free to see your other friends and relax for a long week at work.
In summary we have
Tuesday -> Friday1
Wednesday -> Removed from the weekly calander
Thursday -> Friday2
Friday -> Friaday3
Saturday -> Saturday (no change)
Sunday -> First 24hours of Sunday.
Monday -> Second 24hours of Sunday. (dedicated to Sunday Sessions)
Tuesday -> Monday.
We now have 3 days of work in the week. Since a lot of time will be spent at the pubs, we have 2 options. 1) A lot of jobs get created in the clubbing industry, or (my favourite) 2) That all alcohol be free, so we could all afford the weekends.

I hope you don't mean 'take it easy' if the the alcohol is free... Anyway, it's Tuesday over here, and I wish it was Friday. Well time to get a cuppa of tea, and start looking like I am doing work, which is not hard when your a computer programmer.

One one software and one of hardware? That is a bit rude isn't it?
Well I don't have to look like I am doing work atm, it seems that the machine I am suppose to be working on is down and we may not get to do any testing on it until next week.
Well it is Friday over here for me. Just can't wait until I get home today. Be a long and emotional week, going to need a nice relaxing weekend. Except I am supposed to be catching up with friends, and going to play touch football on Sunday.
Anyway, have a good one.
