Oh wise ones, tell me two things:
1) Is there anywhere on h2g2 where I could find pictures that can be copied to personal spaces?
2) If there is, how do I do it?

I am not sure what you mean, but to put pictures on a page you use the tag, see http://www.h2g2.com/GuideML-Clinic for the GuideML Clinic which will tell you how to use it. I do not think there are pictures on h2g2 to use (only the wee graphics on some Edited Entries), most are linked to external site, where the pictures are hosted. I hope this helps, if you need anything else, or this explained a bit better, just yell Until later.........

Kinnominnie, From looking at your page, it looks like you found not only some GuideML help, but an image for your page! The GAS image is always a great one. Your page looks great! As you may have discovered, all images (except for those on 'edited entries') are on individual researchers' own servers. I've wondered if it might be a good idea for h2g2 to have a simple page of a few stock graphics that researchers could use if they don't have access to server space, or the technical knowledge for uploading images. I went ahead and left that as a suggestion at the Features Suggestion forum http://www.h2g2.com/F47999?thread=70500

Another thing you can do is use any picture you like from an edited entry. See what the filename of the picture you like is; it will probably be along the lines of BXXXXXwhite.gif. What matters is the number where I have XXXXX, thats its blob number. You can use the picture tag with where XXXXX is the blob number again.
This is good because it will mean the picture is suitable for either skin; researchers cannot do this for their images.... yet
Hope this helps.
