h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am new to both H2G2 and the WWW. I usually see who's on and try to meet some other researchers who think along the same lines as I. I hope that I haven't been a nuisance. I am trying my best to come up with good guide entries, but it's hard to figure out something original!

Likewise Cloughie.I've got plenty to write about but i have decided to try and be prudent and spend some time here shooting the breeze and generally browse around getting a handle on the way things are before i write too much.It seems like the prudent route to take.Even so,i am sure my brain and fingers working together will still get me into shit ...lol.This seems like a cool place to be though...don't you think?

I like the rolling-paper plane, when I get home I will give it a shot (tho' I may put the hyphen into the title, as it is it is a little ambiguous, is it an ordinary paper plane that rolls? sort of thing)

They don't have hyphens here either but I change my english regularly - clarity is the king Well that is what I am saying today You should submit your rolling paper plane entry - I reckon it would get through, tho' the waiting list is like 9-10 weeks to get it looked at but I may take you up on the tech support for it, we shall see the night

I think I'll wait 'til I can illustrate it. I might even get a video clip if my web page turns out alright.

At the mo' entries are not going thru with graphics - they are being stripped out (I think), so it is easy to see on a WAP phone screen, and quicker to load - maybe some time in the future h2g2 will start hosting graphics, but at the mo' you have to find some other web site to store them, where h2g2 can go and grab them when you look at the page - though I have a couple of entries that would benefit from a map being included, it is unlikely to happen

Maybe they could set up a chat room for the rest of us? That way, the guide entries wouldn't get all clogged up with chat - I feel that guide entry forums should only contain material relevent to the topic.

A chat room for the rest of us mortals would be a great thing to have.
Just imagine the intelligent conversation that these folks could listen in to..
