Bill that arrived today was considerably less than this time last year - partly because of all the lovely warm weather reducing my consumption by nearly 1000 kwh and partly because British Gas have reduced their charges very slightly.
They have just introduced a tariff that should save me another £140 a year. I was actually singing as I went into the kitchen to make a cuppa.

I pay a standing order every month so I don't have to worry about keeping warm in winter. My payment went up by £1 a month recently, which I don't mind
