was rather more relaxed than usual, as we had rather few customers. There was the first of a week's worth of graduation ceremonies in the cathedral this afternoon. Brought a lump to my throat as the last person in my family wore his mortar board in 1997. My own first degree was in 1965.
The Masters of Business were divided between middle-aged men with full beards and gorgeous young ladies with amazingly high-heeled shoes.
So, another afternoon of wonderful music with the sun streaming in through the stained glass. The lucky Lincoln grads get their reception afterwards in Lincoln castle over the road.
Bus journey home would have been perfect, but a baby girl in the seat in front of me screamed non stop for about an hour. I concentrated hard on the recently harvested fields in the late afternoon sunshine.

apart from the baby it sounds great.
Love the sound of the impossibly high heels although I'd have been more impressed if the beardy ones had been wearing them
