h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well the story is this:
Our school was doing the best trip ever (to Ogwen Cottage) and I desprately wanted to go and I mean desprately! There were 15 places for girls and 15 for boys. Fortunatly for the boys, there were only 15 of them that wanted to go. The girls howver was a different story, 20 0f us wanted to go so they pulled our names out of a mug and the first 15 out of the hat would get to go. I didn't get picked, I was really upset but I was brave and I didn't cry.

But then later that day:
I went to my weekly St John Ambulance Cadet meeting and it turns out that the Cadet Leaders chose me at their NCO meeting to become a Cadet Leader!!! So the grass really is greener on the other side!

hey good to hear, and think about it, whats going to sound better to an future employer you went to Ogwen Cottage, or you are a cadet leader in St Johns amblulance. Now I know which one I would pick
