I was going to ask you to put a plane in a black box just for the comedy value, but since there isn't a plane smiley a will have to do. People will just have to imagine it's a plane.

...because I don't like the way they suddenly sky-dive like a , hunting for flies or mosquitoes or whatever they eat - and almost crash into you, and you duck, but can feel it brush against your hair - imagine a getting entangled in your hair!

oh...and put the mosquitoes in a box too...
for managing to find their way
into your bedroom
in the summer,
in the dark,
and obviously trying to get into your ear
- or that what it sounds like,
keeping you awake,
until you pull the sheet
over your head,
but after a while
it gets too warm,
so you throw it off,
and then you hear
that persistent little zzzzy sound again,
and you turn on the light,
but can't see it,
give up
and turn the light off,
only to hear 'zzzzzzzz'...

Trin, how many times have you had s brushing against your hair, almost getting entangled?

For me:

- one evening when I was trying to hang up laundry to dry in the south of Switzerland (it was probably the sheets confusing their 'radar' and me bending down to pick up laundry and then suddenly straigthening up) several times...

- at the Roman amphitheatre (sp?) in Verona, Italy, where the s had discovered that lamp light drew insects to them, meaning they were sky-diving just below the lamps - and the lamps were hanging just above the stairs in the theatre... so I had to duck several times there too...

to tell you the truth, I never had a in my hair.
I wash them regularly!
