Returned from a successful Slovenia trip (main target cave extended from 400m to 600m deep, plenty of going leads at the bottom, several new surface leads identified). Weather was good - storms for first week, then rain once every week or two the rest of the trip. Had to haul snow out of a nearby shaft twice when water supplies diminished.
Now have to think about whether to look for a job in London or elsewhere...

Hi Potholer. I think your description for dating rocks was a little more succinct than mine. And we got a Creationist!
Heard you like limestone. I've just put an entry inot peer revue dealing with some aspects of limestone. It's 'The City of Wells, the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace, Somerset, UK.' Have a mosey over if you will, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts.
