hi thought i'd update you.

I am having real problems making local contacts. The guy who answers the door and the phone (same guy) at my local mosque does not speak english and the local islamic centre is the mosque. Any ideas that might help.

The local synagogue are slow in responding to emails and voicemails but will keep trying

What am going to do is contact the Britains Council of Faiths. for Contacts, do you have the Muslim directory. I have a few nos. in there i'll look up.

Hi any numbers you copuld get would be helpful, especially those in north kent.

A bit of an update. The Kent Liberal Jewish Community discussed the idea in a commitee meeting and would give it their full support. They also passed on some other contacts so i'll follow them up.

I'm going to try the local mosque again over the weekend and hopefully have some success.

just an update.
had a family crisis over the past 2 weeks, dont really want to go into the full details but will just say 17 year old daughters cause lots of grief. thats something for you to look forward to when you have kids

So not had a chance to do anymore with this and will be again tied up all weekend but should have some time next week to try more contacts.

I bought a book which I haven't had a chance to read yet about peace in the Middle East, which should be interesting too.
