Meeting Bobby

I met Bobby for the first time last night. He is 3 years old. He has no hair due to the chemotherapy treatment he's been receiving. There's just one little wisp sprouting out the top of his head.
His dad told me he was sick 6 times during that time, but he valiantly soldiers on. He has to go for a sleep most afternoons.
He was sitting on a plastic tractor when I saw him.
He quite likes the chime bars I lent him and he's already playing a tune.
His spirit guide is a wiggly red worm. Quite gruesome really...

Bobby now has a hat, and his hair is growing back again. Looks like the medication, treatment and spiritual thoughtfullness is working

I haven't been able to see Bobby this week because I have been suffering from a cold. He hasn't been very well either
Good news about Bobby though! One of my friends from work is going for an interview so she can sell raffle tickets to raise money for Bobby to go to America for his 'Neuroblastoma' treatment.
I hope she gets the job I'm sure she would be very good at selling raffle tickets

I'm finding it very difficult to know what to do about how to get Bobby better because there are mixed feelings about the family in his village.
If MY child were dying of cancer I would do everything I could to arrange to get the treatment he needs as quickly as possible...
All I'm getting from Radio 2 messageboards is a lot of flack from a lot of cruddy people.
Thank goodness for Radio 2 DJ's in the afternoon is all I can say.
As for Gemini FM and Radio Devon I think it's about time they pulled their fingers out and became much much more positive.

I dropped off two of my CD's somewhere else yesterday. I hope the right person picked it up. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of the better recordings. Not to worry. I'll keep trying.
If at first you don't succeed
