It really is so unlike a true member of the armed forces -or civil defense forces - to be so chiildish, it makes me wonder if you are what you claim to be.

Glad to hear that you have accepted my apology. Thank you.

My wife has been a semi-regular on here for at least a year, and originally joined to keep company with a friend of hers who is also a member. I believe the original intent was because said friend was lonely.

I haven't given myself an identity of such note as "Alpha Male" or "Evadne Cake", etc. That is true. The name I chose is biblical in nature. The "playground tactics of derision..." were not of my intent. I genuinely made a mistake in posting on personal spaces as I did not realise their nature. I thought they were all generic.

This is, despite your protestations, my first incarnation here. And it was done simply to challenge that one point that was noticed by my wife.

I am deeply proud to be a member of Her Majesty's Forces, though I am by no means a Royalist. I serve because I enjoy the life and the friendships I have gained. It's been the only life I have known, and it is difficult at times (not least missing two years with my family), so please do me the honour of not insulting my integrity and what is ostensibly my livelihood.
