surley one of the films most enduring aspects is its ability to creat a safe non judgemental atmosphere were people of all genders and sexualitys can dress up and have a laugh?
there's an attitude of acceptance around the hole thing if I were to get in a taxi wearing fishnet stocking's and make up the driver may raise an eye brow but if I mention that Im on my way to a rocky horror night no problem!

A group of my friends and I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show last October and I was dressed as Dr. Frank N. Furter (even more odd since I am in fact a female) and we walked around town for about an hour first and I had everyone that we passed convinced that I was really a transvestite.
